- DoDone supports three notification channels: In-app (bell icon in the top navbar), Browser push (OS-level alerts, even when the app is in the background), and E-mail.
- Go to Profile → Notifications to enable or disable each channel individually.
- To enable browser push notifications, click Enable push notifications on the Notifications settings page and accept the browser permission prompt.
- Notifications are triggered when: a task is assigned to you, a deadline arrives, you receive a team invitation, or a team member completes a task (team owners only).
- The notification bell in the top navbar shows your unread count. Click it to view the last 10 notifications — they are all marked as read automatically when the panel opens.
Quick tipTip: Browser push notifications require a secure (HTTPS) connection and a browser that supports the Web Push API (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari 16.4+).
